Who is Add On Systems?
About Us
Add On Systems (AOS) began in January 1993 with Hugh Fish, Kevin Campbell, and Kent Hildreth. The idea was to provide quality programming services and add-on software to the AS/400 platform truckload carriers. Today, AOS employs 20 associates with over 350 years of extensive experience with trucking software. AOS has provided services to 150+ AS/400 truckload carriers. AOS is also a leader in providing interfaces for many vendors who support the industry with fuel services, mobile communications, and the new technology of GSP units attached to the fleets’ trailers.
This ongoing success was made possible because of two primary areas of our business: our employees and our customers. AOS has been fortunate to maintain experienced programmers who have trucking experience. And with programmers providing quality work, our reputation has attracted new customers seeking our services. AOS believes that without good employees, providing quality service to customers is impossible. We take great pride in providing quality and fairly priced software and programming services to our deserving customers. We believe this formula gives everyone the success they desire.
AOS began by providing programming services for AS/400 users who needed modifications or interfaces written to the ICC system. Comdata and Manhattan Associates (formerly PTCG) were two of our original customers who needed interfaces to the trucking companies using the AS/400. Today, we work with several software providers, including TMW Systems’ TL2000 Group. We have provided interfaces for several third-party vendors’ software products and services with carriers’ host AS/400 systems. Over the years, we have listened closely to our customers to develop add-on software to fit their AS/400 systems.
The AOS modernization initiative is underway to increase the productivity of system users through the use of the latest programming techniques and workflow strategies. Throughout the company's history, AOS has strived to maintain a staff of employees who listen to our customer's management and users to develop software designed to make the ERP more responsive in fulfilling the demands of a successful truckload carrier.
